Elevator Replacement Project Final Phase

Facilities Management and Campus Operations is entering the final phase of the Dunbar Library elevator modernization project. This phase will take elevator 15L offline from December 2 through December 31.

Elevator 15L in Dunbar Library

This is the only elevator serving Dunbar Library that has public access from the basement to the first floor. If stairs create a barrier for you to access the library, a call button station will be available in the basement elevator lobby to contact the library circulation desk for assistance. There will be signage in the basement with additional detail. For assistance traveling from the first floor to the basement, please stop by the circulation desk.

The Library Annex elevator is also available for basement to first floor access. This elevator is located at the far end of the corridor, just past the CaTS Help Desk.

If you prefer to receive library research assistance remotely, please use the Ask A Librarian service at libraries.wright.edu/ask.

We thank you for your patience during this process as we strive to continue to improve our facilities. Two of the library elevators have been modernized and are available from the first floor through the fourth floor.

If you have any questions please contact Chris Gremling at [email protected]

How Do You Like Your Library? We want to hear from you!

The library is conducting student and faculty satisfaction surveys. We want your input!
Students and faculty will receive an email on November 14th from [email protected] with an invitation and link to complete the survey. The survey will be available to take from November 14 – November 25th. It will take about 5-10 minutes to complete.

If you have any questions about this survey or about the University Libraries in general, please contact us at [email protected].

Thank you in advance for completing our survey.
