New exhibit: University Center for International Education partnerships in China

Over the last several years, the University Center for International Education (UCIE) representatives and University leaders—including University Librarian and Associate Vice President for International Affairs, Stephen Foster—have visited China on numerous occasions with the purpose of creating partnerships with Chinese universities that have programs and aspirations that match those of WSU.

A new exhibit in the first floor lobby of WSU’s Dunbar Library highlights these trips to China, as well as some of the many gifts WSU representatives have received during these visits.

The exhibit, created by WSU Special Collections & Archives archivist Gino Pasi, will remain on display through March 2013, in the exhibit cases on either side of the library staircase.

Please stop by soon and have a look: You’ll learn more about UCIE’s activities in China and see some interesting artifacts!
