Please join us this coming Monday, March 4, 2013, for the next meeting of the Huffman Prairie Aviation Historical Society, when Paul Logus will give a presentation about the Global Positioning System (GPS) (view announcement flyer PDF).
Mr. Logus, who has held several engineering and managament positions in the areas of aeronautical and avionics systems, will discuss how GPS was developed as well as how it works.
The meeting and presentation will take place at 7:30 p.m. at the Huffman Prairie Flying Field Interpretive Center at 2380 Memorial Road (intersection of State Route 444 and Kauffman Road), Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. There is ample free parking, and light refreshments will be provided.
