CoLA’s New ‘Back in the Day’ Column

We were excited to learn that the Wright State College of Liberal Arts has begun publishing a new university history column called Back in the Day in its e-newsletter. (You know how we love Wright State University history!)

The column will will include stories, articles, and reminiscences about the founding of Wright State University, in preparation for celebrating WSU’s 50th anniversary (in 2017).

The first few installments, part 1 of which is already posted, will consist of a reminiscence of WSU’s 20th anniversary by Dr. Elizabeth Harden, Professor Emerita in English and former President of the University Faculty. In addition to Harden’s written account, they’ve also included Harden’s video interview from our Wright State University Retirees Association (WSURA) Oral History Project (more WSURA videos available on CORE Scholar).

We’re so pleased any time anyone wants to help us promote Wright State University’s rich history, and we look forward to reading future Back in the Day columns!
