Exhibit highlights Standing Treasures of Dayton

We recently installed a fresh exhibit on the second floor of Dunbar Library: “Standing Treasures of Dayton.”

Many have come together in the Dayton area to save our landscape’s historic structures from deterioration and ultimate removal. These historic buildings are Dayton’s standing treasures, unique and integral to our history.

This exhibit highlights and celebrates five efforts: Duncarrick Mansion, The Woman’s Club of Dayton, the Engineers Club of Dayton, the Dayton Arcade, and the Central Branch of the National Home for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers (commonly known as the Soldiers’ Home).
