July 1960: An Old Friend Leaves Downtown Scene. What things this old clock face has seen since it was put in the Union Station tower 60 years ago! Yesterday, while the clock’s new owner dismantled parts and hauled them away, a Journal Herald photographer shot the scene down Sixth Street from a broken out spot in the glass dial.
