The next meeting of the Huffman Prairie Aviation Historical Society will take place on Monday, April 2, at 7:00pm. All are welcome!
The program will be held at the East Interpretive Center, Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park, 2380 Memorial Road (intersection of State Route 444 and Kauffman Road), Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
Dan Patterson is an aviation photographer and author and has been fascinated with flight his entire life. He employs his skills and talents as a designer and photographer to look at aviation in a different light. He has over 40 books to his credit and was honored in 2003 as the National Aviation Hall of Fame’s first winner of the Harry B. Combs Award for Excellence in the Preservation of Aviation History. He has been a lecturer for the Smithsonian Journeys Program. Dan is currently the Artist in Residence for the Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park. His talk will describe the current film project he is working on with Paul Glenshaw, Darroch Greer, and Mark Wilkins.
